Article - Video on demand makes class lectur an instant rewind

Great article in the Star Ledger on June 9th. In the Seton Hall graduate business class the classroom is equipped with a "lecture capture' system. It has multiple cameras mounted on the wall to record the professors lecture. A computer captures everthing he writes on the electronic tablet he uses If a student misses a class they can go on their computer to watch the video on demand. They can fast forward and replay

Echo360 is installed in classrooms on 250 college campuses. Cost $10,000 and thousands more for licensing and equipment to record and post lectures. NJ has Rutgers, Bergen Community College, County College of Morris, and UMDNJ

They feel in 10 years when costs go down more colleges and K-12 will have in classroom

Will bring article in tonight
